The scene starts with the Queen in her room with Polonius hiding behind the curtain, when Hamlet enters angrily and cause for his mother to scream. This causes Polonius to think the Queen its being attacked so shouts from behind the curtain, Hamlet hears this and stabs Polonius through the curtain. Hamlet is disgusted by his mothers relationship with his uncle saying that everything about her lust for him is horrible and that she should stop. His mother becomes worried about his sanity again. Hamlet regrets killing Polonius and refers to the kings decision to send him to England, he’s ready to go.
